- NICE TA246: Pharmalgen for the treatment of bee and wasp venom allergy. Started and monitored in a specialist centre. A recommended treatment for bee or wasp venom allergy after a severe reaction, or moderate reaction in certain circumstances. (Decision date - March 2012)
Do Not Prescribe (DNP):
- Bee Venom (Alutard SQ Bee) and Wasp Venom (Alutard SQ Wasp). Pending clinician request. (Decision date - November 2019)
Red Drug Classifications
- 1: Requiring specialist assessment to enable patient selection, initiation and ongoing treating
